Kimberly R. Scott, owner and creative director of The KRS Collective, is a former federal employee who turned an unexpected career shift into an opportunity to follow her passion. After a reduction in force, she chose to fully embrace her creative calling — blending her love for leather, photography, art and handcrafted design into a thriving small business.

Because creativity doesn't belong in just one lane. It's not limited to a single form of expression. Sometimes it shows up in photography, other times in handmade goods, design or events. For me, creativity is about capturing and celebrating life in all the ways it unfolds. That's why I call it a collective-it's a gathering of different passions and talents under one name. Evey photo, every design, every project is a reflection of the joy that creativity brings-and a chance to help others hold on to those special moments.
